let's skip reality

and so, it started snowing the day before yesterday.

winter's here and we all know what that means. it's hibernation season where the only two activities that appeal to you is SLEEP and EAT. depression automatically kicks in, and leave you feeling helpless and simply, disconnected. funny how the weather plays such an important psychological role. well, this is what being in a 4-season country taught you.

so yeah, i probably am experiencing the aforesaid symptoms. it isn't as bad as it sounds though, having gone through 3 winters before, it's only natural that it gets easier, no ?

besides sleeping and eating, i found another form of escape ; reading. since the starting of this semester, i've finished reading 3 books including Priceless by Nicole Richie, One Day by David Nicholls and recently The Perks of being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. and so far, none of the books have let me down. so if you're free, these books are highly recommendable :)

i've always loved reading, but somewhere along the way, life gets too hectic and basically leave me with no time for pleasure reading. but now that i'm having cycles rather than classes ( read : more free time ), i'm back.

and for now, it's my favourite form of escape :)

currently onto my fourth one, The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch.

oh, in case i didn't make myself clear enough, i HATE winter. like, really.
sucks balls.
kbye.

you'd be surprise things might change your perspective on winter. It isn't how the weather affects you. it's what affects you that will affect how you feel towards the weather. I wish you all the best in being happy this winter. Try :)
